

I have been on so many diets, the grapefruit diet, master cleanse diet, the cabbage diet, the apple cider diet and the cookie diet. I could go on and on not that I am proud of the damage that I did to my internal organs but I just want to out myself because sometimes desperate times called for desperate measures I have since learned that diets don't work only healthy eating and exercise will do. But back then I was looking for instant gratification and a reduction of weight lost overnight.
Some of these diets didn't work at all and at times I found myself eating more while on the diet then I did when I was not on a diet. This body of mine is very strange take for instants the grapefruit diet sounds simple enough eat 1/2 grapefruit before each meal or drink eight ounces of unsweetened grapefruit juice. Doable right keep in mind you can't have any of the white stuff like pasta, bread, sugar. If you love bread, pasta or sugar this is not the one for you either.
Now the master cleanse, will test your will to live. After one day of pure hell and my stomach burning like a furnace on the inside I learn pretty early on this was not the show stopper. The ingredients for this diet 16 ounces of water, cayenne pepper and some maple syrup, this all must be measured out of course but it burns the hell out of your stomach and makes it hard to tinkle. Burn baby burn don't say I did not warn you. Opinions may vary however these were my experiences.
Then out of desperation I tried the cabbage diet well let me put this out there I am not a veggie lover so that last 20 seconds, so if you like vegetables go get a big pot and a lot of toilet paper you are going to need it. Don't make no plans on this diet, magazines and air freshener will be the only company you keep.
Now the apple cider diet this was one of my favorites until I became bored. I used one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of honey in 16 to 20 ounces of water I drank this with every meal it worked best of all because it did not burn my stomach it was not vegetables and I didn't have problems tinkling I just got bored with it.
Last but not least the cookie diet one day don't remember what channel but I heard that a certain fast food chain sold cookies that would help you to lose weight that diet didn't work either. I assumed I was losing of course so I keep buying the cookies. After gaining ten pounds I gave that one up too.
So I started thinking what if I was paid to lose weight. Would I do it and for how much would money really make the difference in my weight loss. Would/Could I finally stick with a new way of life. Would money talk and my bull sh*t walk. I guess we will never know because I refuse to pay anyone to help me take weight off that I put on in the first place. And I would never ever consider taking money to take weight off that I put on because then I would be doing it for the money and not for myself. So for what it is worth I am going to take my fresh start and this blog and lose weight the right way through diet and exercise. Unless you got a plan.... who put that in there.
