Darn It.... I did it Again

What did I do you might ask? What I said I wasn’t going to do?   I let another month go by without writing or updating my blog.  I really had so much to talk about such as my summer, my road trips, my adventures and my entire week off from work.  Now summer has come and gone and not one of my stories was told such a shame.  I am home with a very bad cold;  so I thought why not today I can tell it all in one  blog and then you will know what I been wanting to say all summer. In the beginning  of July I went on several  day trips visited State Parks  which is not unusually for me and my friends.  We visit parks that we have never seen and quite a few times was rained out. Before we could even pull out the grill or get the food out of the car. We were so excited sometimes we tried to wait the rain out if you know what I mean. But the rain always sent us packing.  If you have never visited a *State Parks* in your area depending on where you live you should at least visit one.
The highlight of my summer was going to Virginia on my week vacation from work. Can I just say it was the best week of my life?  We visited* Kings Dominion*. I did not get on any rides, if you continue to read you will find out why but other than that I had the time of my life.  See I have never been to *Kings Dominion* before so I was like a kid in a candy store. Excellent; Thrilled; and overwhelmed with all the sites.  There was only one thing holding me back from enjoying myself to the fullest and that was the pain that I struggled with every time I walked.  The pain started two weeks before I went on vacation, I stood up to go to the bathroom while at work and I lost my balance.  Looking for excuses, I blame it on the chair and how I arose from it so quickly.  Every day I went through the same problem; and not thinking nothing of it I still went on vacation.   It was five and half hours on the road, with one pit stop.
When we reached Virginia my leg was throbbing so badly I could have cut it off myself. Instead I sat in the tub almost the entire night. The next day every time I sat for a long period of time and stood up the pain increased so that is why I chose not to ride. Walking around was the best therapy with occasional stops at different benches.   When we got back to the hotel I spent another night soaking in the tub that continued every night the soaking I mean. Finally  the time came to return home and my thoughts were when I got home to find out what was wrong with my leg. My friend thought it may have been a blood clot causing all that pain. So the entire ride back home all I could think about was what my friend said what if it is  a *blood clot*. Turns out after a trip to the hospital because of all the weight that I put back on I am suffering with *ARTHRITIS* in both legs and that was causing all the pain I was suffering.   For every extra pound I gained it has cause a new health problem. I am back on the wagon again, its a struggle but I refuse to give up.
