Funny for the last two days I have been up very early wanting to blog away. And now it is mid afternoon and I am just getting to it. When I am not at work my choices to eat are pretty intense because I spend most of my time in a car on the weekends with my friends. Next weekend me and my friends will be walking along side people who have Sickle Cell. I think it is a great cause I just hope I make it. I don't want to embarrass anyone by getting on the shuttle before the walk is over we will be walking 8 miles. I don't know how I got to talking about the walk that was not my intention, my intentions was to talk about how half ass America is my friend said, it to me that way so I am not going to change it.
I personally did not want to go there again, because a couple of blogs ago I did I damn near threw a tantrum on our food industry . But my friends comment brought me back this way again so I am just going get it out of my system. Why in the hell is a burger you name the place I have a few in mind and will refrain from saying them. My point is why is it that you can buy a burger for $2.00 dollars with french fries. But a salad will cost you $ 7.00 dollars or more. Change your prices and maybe the world will change their minds. Make the burger $7.00 dollars or even start the prices at $5.00 dollars and make the salad $3.00 dollars and watch how America change from being the biggest obese nation to the most healthiest. There will be still a few that will still pay $7.00 dollars or more for a burger I have done it once or twice myself .
However, that price made me less likely to buy another oppose to buying two for three dollars with french fries. You may say Kim you just need to make better food choices and my answer to that would be if I only had $4.00 and I've been driving for 2hours and the salad was $4.50 and something fast was $3.00 dollars and you could included the drink well you know what my choice would be.
So I say to America stop being so half a**backwards.
STOP MAKING THE HEALTHY FOODS so HIGH AND THE FAST FOODS so CHEAP!
I think I just threw another tantrum oh well it was for a good cause.
